The method of the mould quotation

1.Experienc method

Mould price =Material cost +design cost + processing cost and profit + value added tax+ tryout cost + Packaging and frieght

The general proportion of each item  

Material cost :material and standard parts are 15%-30% of the total cost of the mold  

Processing cost and profit are 30%-50%;

Design cost : is  0%-15% of the total cost of the mold

Tryout mold: The large mold can be controlled under 3%,Presice mold can be controlled under 5%;

Packaging and freight :can be calculate according the fact or calculate by 3%;

Value added tax :17% 

2. Material coefficient method

Can calculate mold material price by the mold size and material price.

Mold price =(6~10)* material cost

Forging mold ,Plastic mold =6*material cost 

Die casting mold =10*material cost  

Evaluation of the mold quotation
